Pastor & Family

Rev. Dr. George Philip and family joined Green Meadows Church of God in the month of January 2024. The husband of Sis. Priya Philip and father to two children, Jerim and Aksa. He has been faithfully leading our congegration in the truth and spirit. The church continues to be spiritually enriched, edified, and blessed through his ministry. Before comming to GMCOG, he has been in Christian ministry at various levels. He is both an academician and a gifted pastor. Apart from his ministry in Kerala, Dr. Philip had been in Christian ministry in Andhra Pradesh over ten years and about four years in Pune, India. He was an Associate Professor and the HOD of New Testament at Union Biblical Seminary, Pune, as part of his last assignment. He authored, Paul and Common Mean: Resocialization of Christian Community, and edited, Embracing Strangers: Theological Explorations into Inclusive Communities. Moreover, he contributed numerous articles to peer reviewed academic journals and presented papers at various academic forums. He is well appreciated among youngsters and adults.
